What made you go for one motor instead of two?

So my boat orignally head a diesel which driven a sort of heck drive. So I had a single steerable porpellor. I calculated that 6kw was enough.
I really liked the manouvering with the steerable outboard, so I wanted that again.
Also, this was less complex to make because I could easily fit one where two would be a bit more of challange. Also the costs played a role. Spending another 3500 on a motor (and additional constructions and wiring) was not worth the extra power.
In all my projects, I always make decision on "how can i change it afterwards". If there was not enough power in the end, I just bought a second one. Or, I would have bought 2 pod drives.
So to sum up. Costs, complexity and i could always add another if needed.

How do you do the cooking?

I have a induction hob rated of 3500W. It draws 0.5 - 1.0 kWh per meal for 3 persons.
